THE TEAM

Arbor was founded by Inês Alves Guerra, a lawyer experienced in supporting international investors, family offices, and private clients. Her practice – which covers wealth planning, succession, immigration, and cross-border structuring - is grounded in her career at leading firms in Lisbon.
She is the head of our growing team that brings strategic insight and human sensitivity to our broad and deep legal expertise. Together, we have guided families relocating to Portugal, designed succession and governance frameworks, aligned tax and real estate strategies with long-term priorities, and represented clients in sensitive disputes. Our work is defined by precision, discretion, and continuity — qualities that clients can rely on in moments of transition, building relationships grounded in trust and in time.
